Building which houses Stara Łaźnia restaurant was opened in 1902. It's address was once Stodólna St. (today it is Tkaczew) by Bzura river. The building financed by the town-hall for over than sixteen thousand roubles was designed to be city bath-house. Although first years were business failure, in 1909 Sanitary Association decided to give it a second chance.

The building was renovated, its equipment improved and on 13^th October 1912 it was opened for public again. From that moment on, the bath-house became popular with roundabout ten thousand visitors in 1913. The bath-house was opened during World War I and after it finished, was again managed by local Sanitary Association. In 1922 the bath-house was once again managed by the town-hall. Additional equipment was then provided and new bath rooms opened. During World War II the bath-house was managed by the City Council controlled by German occupants.

The wars and communist regime time impressed a stamp on the history of the building. Change of systems did not bring any stabilization. In the old bath-house films and slides were produced, then candles and in the end it became animal feeds trade place.

Our part of history begins in 2010. Karina and Krzysztof Malinowscy buy the historic building and half a year later open the restaurant. They still are captivated by its climate, history and original architecture and are willing to share their passion with visitors. Renovated historic building, original arrangements and regional relics are admired be many.
